MEP(L) – MULTI-ENGINE PISTON
MEP(L) rating is the stage where a pilot learns how to fly multi-engine aircrafts. This training teaches the pilots the behaviors of a multi-engine airplane and how to react under engine failure emergencies. Pilots learn about the differential thrust vector and its associated effects. Upon completion of this stage pilots will be rated to fly multi-engine airplanes along with its privileges.
MEP(L) Training consists of 6 hours of flight training with a flight instructor along with theory preparations.
